Rickie Fowler’s Career graph

2012 had been his year, Rickie Fowler could not agree more. It had taken off with the PGA tour in the month of May at the Faro Championship where he emerged victorious against the very impressive current world number 1 Rory McIlroy. Although Fowler is still behind Rory if compared with the number of wins that he has had but it can be seen that he is catching up quite fast. And he is not in a hurry at all. Currently he has been ranked world number 31 whereas Rory is way up at number 1 position according to Official World Golf Ranking.

In the last season Fowler has had his advancements with the FedEx Cup playoffs by qualifying for his first ever Tour Championship with much pressure. But now he is at ease after three-four rounds in the Tour and his confidence levels show that Rickie Fowler has improved upon his skills so much from the previous time. Although Celtic Manor in Wales marked the beginning of his bright career when he shot in four birdies that gave birth to high hopes about his winning at the U.S. Ryder Cup but that did not go as planned.

Next up he got smitten with his injury (sacroiliac joint inflammation) just because he had a slight change in his golf posture. The injury still hurts Rickie Fowler but he just does not bother himself thinking quite about it because he loves to play the rough side of the otherwise stodgy game. He even said that he still would love to go to mountain biking which had been his passion since childhood. This has reflected upon his gaming skill which has given golf a new dimension and he setting up a totally new trend for the years to come.
