FOWLER RECREATES ICONIC RYDER CUP WAGs PICTURE

The iconic Ryder Cup WAGs picture was one which went viral and became quite synonymous with USA’s win in 2016 over Europe at the Ryder Cup competition.

Rickie Fowler, in the picture, cut the picture of a lonely figure amid his team-mates shows of affection with their WAGs after their victory at Hazeltine National.

Six months on, Fowler once again finds himself in a similar position while holidaying with his golfing compatriots on their ‘Spring Break’ vacation in the Bahamas.

Fowler, in the company of the likes of Jordan Spieth, and Justin Thomas all took off last week to the exclusive Baker’s Bay ‘Spring Break’ holiday destination.

Smylie Kaufmanjoined the three golfers who recently competed at Augusta in the Masters, with the four of them documenting their trip on social media through their posts.

Accompanying them through their holidays are giant yachts, the open water, rogue golf buggies and a dreamy backdrop. In addition to that, the four with the exception of Fowler were recently joined by their better halves as they holidayed through the Caribbean.

At the Augusta event, the duo of Fowler and Spieth put on strong showings. At the end, they were paired together in the event’s final round. For Fowler, it ended at a one-under par finish while Spieth who began the opening round in a poor fashion, battled back thus finishing the tournament level with Fowler tied at 11th.

Thomas, who is another rising star coming out of the US, ensured to put together a string of four solid rounds thus finishing proceedings on two-over-par.

He was in the good company of the likes of Phil Mickelson, Jason Day and Charley Hoffman. Hoffman led after the first and second rounds before ending up tied at 22nd.
