Cobra-Puma unveil new headgear for Rickie Fowler

He gave the world of a golf a new style statement, something that has shocked, dazzled and bamboozled golf fans around the world, but American youngster Rickie Fowler has no intentions of carrying his fashion trend forward and will be unveiling a new style statement at the upcoming US Masters at Augusta National next month. Cobra – Puma recently unveiled the new Masters themed headgear that the 22 year old American will don when he tees off at the famous circuit, looking to improve on his result at the event from last year.

The design of the cap is monocline and it features the famed gold and green colors that are traditionally associated with the Augusta Masters and the new design of the cap will also pay its very own tribute to the style of the American. Rickie Fowler, who has been hailed by many as the United States of America’s answer to Rory McIlroy, the world’s number one golfer at this moment, is yet to produce the performance that drew people to make the comparison.

But still, people consider him young enough and talented enough to make his mark on the sport for years to come and who knows, maybe the US Masters teeing off at the Augusta National next month might see the rise of a new force in the world of golf who will be able to keep the flag of the country flying against the barrage of decent golfers who have made the journey from across the pond to take the golfing stage by storm.

Rickie Fowler, currently ranked at 32 in the world debuted at the Masters in 2011 finishing with a T-38 before improving to T-27 in last year’s event and will be hoping to improve on that further when he returns to the course.
