All about Rickie Fowler

Rick yutaka fowler ( Rickie Fowler) was born on December 1988 in Murrieta, California. he is self-taught. During his school life he set a course record of 62 at SCGA, his home course. He led his team to the state finals by winning the SW League in his senior year of high school.

He attended the Oklahoma State University and his first victory in college was on 1 October 2007 where he won the tournament by one stroke. He won the western junior in the year of 2005 and also participated in the U.S. amateur, however was defeated in the latter by Richie Ramsay. His first victorious appearance in the Walker cup was in 2007 followed by his 2009 victory, he won all the four matches of that tournament. In 2008 he won the Sunnehanna Amateur championship following his victory of 2007. He played for the Eisen hower Trophy on October 2008. In 2009 he dropped to the 3rd position in the Sunnehanna Amateur.

Rickie Fowler shifted to professional golf with the Albertsons Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour. He has endorsement deals with brands like Titleist, Puma and Rolex, all in 2009. Though his first PGA tour was the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open, he had to wait till December 2010 to obtain his PGA Tour card. In September 2010 he became the youngest golfer to play for the U.S. Ryder team. That year he was awarded with the Rookie of the Year award.

He has only 2 professional wins, which include one PGA Tour win (the Wells Fargo Championship, 2012) and one Asia Tour win (the Kolon Korea Open 2011). This fetched him a 32nd rank on the Official World Golf Rankings. On 6 May 2012 Rickie Fowler won the Wells Fargo Championsip by defeating Rory McIlroy. This allowed his ascend among the top 25 golfers in the world.
